Beauty in Brown
This has been one of my most favorite pictures. These buds were clicked in the garden of my uncle's house.

Male Subject
I am really bad at names but I dont think I took this gentleman's name. He is one of the photographers who was present at the Langford Photo Shoot and willingly volunteered as a subject.
This particular picture stood out for me because of the light glow on the left side of the face while the other side is darker. The background on these two sides contrast the exposure with the dark green and the light green.
The best part though, is the asymmetry and the expression. They add life to the picture.
I realize that I am being real artsy with describing why I like this picture among the 100 that I took of the same subject. At this moment, I do not feel like a logistics engineer at all. Ha ha ha...

Female Subject (1 of 2)
The girlfriend of one of the attendees to the photo shoot at Langford Park, she ended up being the female subject thanks to her dark hair. We got to experiment a lot with her position with respect to the sun and her position with respect to the kind of background. This one stood out the most for me. The sun is to her right, her hair is glowing and the background makes her stand out.

Anil and Laya
My good friend Anil poses with Laya at Langford Park, Orlando while other photographers click away.
Koyel
With a lot of persuasion I have taken a short break from my UK pictures (there are a lot more left). Here is a picture of Koyel taken while she was photographing Anil (see him in the next post). The picture was taken in Langford Park, Orlando FL during a photographers meet to discuss portraiture.

3 years
Today marks the end of my three years in North America. It is a day to celebrate. There is a filet mingon at the local Outback with my name on it!
This is a picture of me clicking myself at a tiny cafe in Lewes.

Exoskeleton
An exoskeleton to a building seemed to be quite the trend in London. I have a picture of another one.

A few Rockets!
The wedding had fireworks, a present from the newly wedded husband to his lovely wife. She only asked for a few 'rockets'. The clear summer night sky was set ablaze with a stunning display of fireworks for a straight twenty minutes. So much for a few rockets!
I will be posting regular pictures once my UK series gets over. I took over 1300 pictures during a span of six days. A few more weeks before Jacksonville's pictures take the blog over. Hang Tight!
