The Wedding Location

This is the location of the wedding that I attended during my short stay in UK. I think it is an 11th century barn. Located in the 'Downs' in Sussex it is only a few kilometers from the English Channel. This is a very expensive and historic part of Sussex. All the houses in this area are listed.

I take the credit for the clear skies and a steady 20 degree Celsius to 25 degree Celsius during this English Summer, after all, I brought some Florida weather with me.

Peace

A girl finds peace and tranquility in the haphazard roundabout in front of the Buckingham Palace. Shek, shamelessly invades her privacy with his 12X zoom lens.

if this is your picture and you dont want it to be displayed publicly, please request me to take it off

Greylag Goose

This is one of the many Greylag Gooses that live on the lake in St. James's Park (in front of the Buckingham Palace)

England

You know it is England when you go out for a walk and it leads you to a footpath that goes through a rolling hill and a pretty lady on a horse back passes by. This location is about a 15 minute walk from where my Uncle and Aunt live in Lewes, Sussex. Find the entire Lewes series under the tag, 'Lewes'.

Dames Point Bridge 1 of Many

This was taken under the Dames Point Bridge on the way to the Dames Point Park. You can see the suspended part at the end of the pillars.

It rained real heavy that day so there are no more pictures of the beautiful bridge. More on the way.

Buds 5 of 5

This is the final of the five and probably the best. Let me know which one you liked most.

Buds 4 of 5

Buds 3 of 5

Roses and Lilies get too much screen time. These are tiny weeds that people usually walk over. I think they have equal potential.

Someone commented here that a particular picture was not crisp enough. Here is one to compensate, more to follow.

Tea Leaves?

this one reminds me of the tea gardens.

Smokehouse

I stopped for gas in an obscure little exit on I4 on my way back from Orlando International Airport. Dotted with construction, the two things of interest in this little exit were the $2.81 per gallon gas station and this barbecue joint. I search for local food to get an insight into the local culture. You learn an awful lot about people by eating their daily food. Next time, I will plan to be there between 11 and 2!
