I took some pictures of my colleague, his wife and his new born son. They like the rustic feel of St. Augustine, so that was the venue of our choice. The evening sky was scattered with light patchy clouds making for ample diffused natural light. These are the three best shots.

I wont go crazy like the last wedding post with too many pictures. Here are the three best from the shoot.
The last one has to be one of the better portraitures that I have shot. She is the sister of the groom and was one of the bridesmaids.
I tried the antique look again. This time on a picture of my cousin on her wedding day with her husband and baby.
The first picture is the original, the second is cross processed using nEO iMAGING. I havent bought the software yet, so you will notice the software's signature on the top left corner. The third picture is a sepia tone. I work with Picasa (because it is free), and have just done the sepia tone adjustment and a slight auto contrast/highlight. Nothing fancy.
This is a multi exposure of all three pictures. Not having photoshop, I do not have the ability to adjust the transparency of the layers as preferred by Rich Legg. I used Picasa's trusty 'Multi-exposure' under the 'Collage' button. Anyway, here is the outcome:

I like the second one better. It has the rustic look that I am looking for. You can notice it in the greens, they have turned slightly brown but not enough to look dusty. I do like the dusty effect too, as commanded by Roger Deakins to simulate a dusty southern summer.

Not having photoshop, I only combined the sepia tone with the original. I like this effect better than just a sepia (which steals all the colours) or just the original. It gives the picture an antique look and softens the mood a bit.
To this very picture, it softens the colours in the frame enough to keep the smile as the focal point.
My first attempt at photographing a wedding. It was the perfect wedding to photograph. Everything was well planned, no last minute stresses and the bride and groom were the happiest people in the room all day.
The day started off pretty cloudy but they moved away fast revealing bright blue skies and a few fluffy clouds.

He said he was only 15 yrs old and had been doing this for the last four years. These street performers bend the truth a lot but there was a certain truth in his claim when I asked him point blank after the show.
He got a fat tip that evening from someone who did not have to gather a crowd and toss fire around to make a bit of extra money at age 15.
